GI Norden, ULI Geoforum, and Geoforum Danmark are pleased to present the first Nordic Conference on Geodemographics this spring.
The combination of geographic and demographic data makes a strong and central tool in numerous analytical processes. Therefore, this conference emphasizes knowledge sharing on the use and research within geodemographic data usage in both research, the public, and the private sector across the Nordic countries.
Presenting speakers from a variety of branches you’ll find several perspectives on usage and potential within geodemographic data; from the G2G, B2G, and B2B. The conference will provide presentations, talks, debate and pitches within themes such as:
- – Geodemographic data as decision support
- – City planning
- – Visualization of geodemographic data
- – Data ethics
- – Geodemographic data sources and usage across the Nordic countries
- – Health and social differences
- – Migration
- – Personal data
- – Modelling
- – The future of geodemographic data
Target group: Researchers and practitioners – and anyone with an interest in the potential and usage of geodemographic data.
Participation fee: The fee is DKK 3.400,- (ex. VAT), which includes participation in the workshop, two lunches, coffee breaks, and an informal dinner.
Participants, not covered by a membership of one of the Nordic national GI associations (Geoforum, ULI Geoforum, GeoForum, LISA or ProGIS), will be charged an additional fee of DKK 450 + VAT.

Venue: The conference will be held in Copenhagen at the premisses of Aalborg University, Copenhagen.
